Maharishi Peace Palace to offer accredited academic courses

lans are progressing to offer educational courses for academic credit in collaboration with Maharishi University of Management as part of the future programme of the Maharishi Peace Palace at Maharishi Garden Village, Rendlesham. A wide range of courses will be available for all levels of interest from single lessons designed for “Knowledge for Fulfilment” to full degree programmes. Each course will have at its basis Maharishi’s principles of teaching Total Knowledge, connecting each field of study with the deepest level of one’s own Being, making learning more satisfying, more relevant, and more exciting than ever before.

The Maharishi Peace Palace at Rendlesham will be the perfect study centre to host these programmes. Whether you would like to attend a one-day course or are planning more in-depth study, the advantage of this teaching approach is that it creates a learning atmosphere of ease and enjoyment without stress or strain.
The plan is that courses will lead to various levels of academic diplomas and degrees, accredited by Maharishi University of Management and eventually by a British university too. We look forward to letting you know more as plans unfold.
Maharishi University of Management is developing and offering courses at the cutting edge of sustainability in areas such as business, agriculture, and construction. There is great demand for such courses in Britain but very little on offer. One of the courses we are looking into is a BSc in Sustainable Construction, which will include hands on practical experience in sustainable construction, such as in the building of Peace Palaces, Maharishi Sthapatya Veda homes, etc.

Courses to train new Teachers of Transcendental Meditation
It is envisaged that the Peace Palace will become a major centre for training new Teachers of Transcendental Meditation in Europe, as there is a great need for more Teachers around the continent and there is currently no other perfect Vastu facility available for this purpose.

It is only your donations that have allowed us to make such good progress and that will ultimately enable us to build what will be the very first Maharishi Peace Palace in Europe, and the first in the world to utilise the full design concept developed so meticulously by Maharishi in his final years. Your donations will also make it possible for us to be less dependent on bank finance and loans. We would also like to thank those who have offered their advice about the Peace Palace business plan. This is now almost completed and we are about to start approaching banks.
